Standard Operating Procedure: Raptor Alarm Wholesale Enquiries

Important Agent Note: Please note that Raptor products are supplied exclusively on a wholesale basis to registered businesses and are not sold directly to the general public.
This section outlines the procedures agents must follow when handling enquiries about purchasing Raptor Alarms from us.
1. Process to confirm the legitimacy of a potential Wholesale Customer
  • Obtain customers business and trading name.
  • Obtain the customers Directors name.
  • Confirm the nature of business.
  • Obtain the business address.
  • Obtain the ABN.
  • Perform an ABN look up to verify that the details provided are indeed correct.
  • Advise that Goldsure is the authorised distributor of Raptor Alarms.
  • Advise that payment must be received before product is despatched.
  • Advise that product delivery charges will be passed onto the wholesaler.

Raptor Alarms reserves the right to accept or deny wholesale terms and or direct sales to Wholesalers, Distributors, Electrical Installation, Smoke Alarm installation and the like and or Electrical sole traders and business (on-sellers). A ‘terms of trade agreement’ seeking personal and business information may be requested from on-sellers and any information Raptor Alarms collect in relation to on-sellers or consumers is strictly kept secured. Raptor Alarms does not pass on, sell, or exchange personal information with anyone, unless instructed to do so by law. Raptor Alarms staff may become aware of information relating to the business of on-sellers and or consumers, including but not limited to client lists, trade secrets, client details and pricing structures. Confidential information, including client lists, trade secrets, pricing structures and all documents created by staff in the course of employment remain the sole property of Raptor Alarms and shall not, without the prior consent from Raptor Alarms and the source origin of the information, directly or indirectly divulge to any person or use the confidential information for Raptor Alarms or another’s benefit. Raptor Alarms reserves the right to variable menu-based terms of trade based on volumes, risk and reciprocal agreements.

WARRANTY POLICY: Raptor Alarms takes customer complaints seriously, from both a customer service perspective and to ensure that all of its installations are safe and compliant. A warranty job can result from a variety of complaints ranging from: Faulty product(s), Delivery discrepancies, Delivery service, Packaging. All complaints are respected and investigated with diligence and when Raptor Alarms are verified as being wholly responsible for the complaint an appropriate make good commitment will be met. Warranty jobs pertaining to Faulty installation(s), Damage caused from installation(s), or, Poor installation service / end user customer engagement remain the responsibility of the on-seller.

PRODUCT WARRANTY: A product warranty is exercised if a product has been installed compliantly and in accordance with the installation guidelines / operating manual and is not fit for purpose or fails to perform to the product performance specifications, within the product warranty period. All products installed come with a minimum of a 1-year product warranty provided the product has not been tampered with in any way.

SERVICE WARRANTY: Service warranties are defined as damage and or poor workmanship because of works completed at installation or consumer engagement and remain the responsibility of the on seller.
